Hi Ron,
Thanks so much for the sweet mention here. I really love being linked to OES.org and look forward to the day when we have another OES in our home. I hope my button might help others learn a bit about your wonderful group.

At present Chevy, our black cat who is quite old, is the only pet left with us, and unfortunately, she isn't much of a canine person. Just before my birthday this past year, very late at night, my husband whispered to me that he would like to bring another OES into our home. It wasn't until we heard a very loud SHRIEK followed by Chevy jumping off the bed, running down the hall, bounding down the stairs and sulking somewhere on the main floor that we even knew she had been in the bed listening to our conversation. At that point Steven and I made the decision that we'll have to wait a bit.

But oh, how we miss our Einstein.

Again, thank you so very much for your very kind post.

Best,
Cookie

Hello Ron,

I wanted to thank you for finding my blog and leaving such a great comment with fantastic pictures! I loved all the photos. Tonight I wrote in my blog and linked your oes.org site. I also included a picture of Woofles in my blog tonight, and wrote about our rescue OES, Abby, who is asleep beside me. I will get to the forum later but wanted to say thank you for being so thoughtful. No surprise since you are an OES person!

Your welcome. I just knew in my heart that I had to go back and get him. I am really glad I did now. The vet said he would have only live a couple ov months with out treatment (that is if he didn't get hit by a car).

He will be with his new family soon and feeling much better.
